My love for plants and getting my hands dirty started at a young age. Growing up in Kentucky my family had a couple different gardens on my grandparents land where we grew most of the standard veggies. 

I graduated from the University of Louisville in 2006 with a Bachelors of Science in Finance. I moved to Denver Colorado in 2009 and quickly became part of the medical marijuana industry. I became sales manager at a hydroponics center called Way to Grow, which had the largest sales volume of hydroponics equipment in the state for multiple of the years surrounding my employment. This experience not only taught me vast knowledge of plant nutrients, lighting equipment, soil and grow media, pesticides, and fungicides but also cultivation techniques and environmental controls for greater production.  I had great success in putting these methods into practice and was able to have many successful harvests.
